1. Selection is judgment, not certification
Waghoon selects wagons that offer an unusually interesting combination of specification, price, mileage, condition, history, utility, design or cultural relevance. A selection means “worth a closer look.” It does not mean mechanically sound, fairly priced, authentic, safe or investment-grade.
2. Listing facts stay attributed
Price, mileage, VIN, location, ownership, service, originality and condition are reported from the linked listing or its documentation. Language such as “listed,” “seller-stated,” “shown” and “claimed” is intentional. Waghoon does not convert a seller assertion into an independently verified fact.
3. Availability is dated
Live means the source appeared available at the stated check. Sold means the source reported a sale. Auction ended means the scheduled sale period ended. Unverified or archived means current availability has not been reconfirmed. Profiles remain online as editorial archives, but only live records appear in the default inventory view.
4. Common issues are model research
Known-issue sections identify documented model, engine or platform inspection points from sources such as NHTSA recall and service-bulletin records, manufacturer material and established repair references. They are not a diagnosis of the featured vehicle. “Not stated” means the material reviewed does not prove the work was completed.
5. Data gaps remain visible
The Station Wagon Index uses representative configurations. Values may vary by trim, drivetrain, market and measurement method. N/A means the selected public source did not provide a reliable value. Waghoon does not estimate missing specifications merely to complete a table.
6. Images must identify the subject
Every listing profile requires at least one image of the specific advertised car. Research-index images represent the named model or the same body generation and are labeled accordingly; trim details may differ. Credits and source links are retained where available. A mismatched image should be reported for removal or replacement.
7. Corrections are evidence-led
Reports are checked against the cited source or stronger primary evidence. Material factual changes update the page and its modified date. Availability changes are recorded in the machine-readable inventory-status file. Use the correction form and include the affected URL and supporting source.
8. Tools assist; responsibility stays editorial
Research and publishing tools may assist source collection, normalization, comparison and formatting. Material claims are reviewed against cited sources before publication. Automated output is not used as authority for a vehicle fact.
9. Commercial relationships require disclosure
Waghoon is not the seller of featured vehicles. A marketplace link may change or expire. If a link, placement or relationship is compensated, that relationship must be disclosed where it could affect a reader’s interpretation.
